In Gamelearn, we are attending another year the ATD fair (Association for Training & Development), the greatest international event on corporate training in the world, being held this May 23, 24 and 25.
Denver (Colorado, USA) is the chosen venue for this 2016 edition. For us, it will be the fifth consecutive year that we attend the ATD as the leading exponent of game-based learning and learning in videogame format.
Our team will conduct on Tuesday 24 the session titled ‘Why serious games are more effective than e-learning“. Mak Kishun, manager of International L&D, will be responsible for representing the Gamelearn team, who is attending once again as a platinum sponsor.
Our colleague will present to attendees, experts and training professionals, the keys to the success of our format. We will pay special attention to our solutions for corporate training: the video game on leadership (Pacific), launched in late 2015; and our serious games on negotiation (Merchants) and time management (Triskelion).
The ATD is the main event on training and professional development, with more than 10,500 participants from over 80 countries. A fair like this entails, both for us and for the hundreds of heads of Human Resources, such as Mark Walker, being up to date with the latest trends and establishing long-term relationships with the leading players in the sector.
An industry, corporate training, which is constantly evolving. In the ATD, we will be able to give first-hand information about the new ideas to continue investing in learning projects that will make us better professionals and, why not, better people.
